Reiki is a Japanese system of touch that creates deep relaxation of mind, body, and spirit. Reiki energy is transmitted from the universal source to the client's energetic and physical body through a series of hand positions near the chakra centers. The client is fully clothed and lying down (or sitting, if lying down is difficult for you) during the hour-long session. Most clients experience a profound sense of peace and contentment.
