A neck problem reared its head this week, so I cannot lift weights. I am still able to do the aerobics portion, and continue with the food plan. Wednesday I had such a craving for a "Snickers" that I let myself have one.
I still am slowly shrinking, so still feel good about the program over all. Bill Phillips says it can take "as little as 12 weeks", and I am beginning to see that it may well take much longer, especially for those, like me, who are not doing any supplementing other than meal replacement, such as Myoplex.
Got a nice email this week from someone who is just starting out on the Body for Life program. It was great to connect with someone who is committed to building their best body ever, as I am. The little setbacks, like the neck problem, have not and will not derail me from meeting my goal. They actually inspire me to hang in there. If I gave up, let myself eat badly, and quit exercising, I'd be chubby, out of shape, and in pain!
Next week is week 12. Hard to belive it has gone so fast!
