Stout wood and strong growth shoots forth
toward the warming sun,
swaying easily upon the rousing spring breeze.
Focus on the horizon, both inside and out,
for that which slumbers comes angrily to life.
The scars of winter are healed and transformed,
as the grass grows green and the lilacs bloom.
Fire streaks red and pink in the twlight summer sky.
Sparks ignite from heart to lungs to belly.
Creativity explodes and spirits burn joyously in the flame.
Warm breezes and sultry nights ignite pleasure,
and excitement overshadows the acrid aftertaste.
The conflagration passes, and life tends the glowing embers.
Earth is balanced inside and out.
Astride nature's rhythm, I am where i belong.
Fertile and nubile, life cycles within and sings
of bright yellows, deep oranges, and sweet browns.
Forged in the spirit's depths,
grief releases pain and embraces hope.
Unbendable and unbreakable metal,
the survivor, stands tall.
White, grey, and silver spice autumn's life and the
spirits don the garb of justice and honor.
Breathe deeply and relax.
Such are the seasons of one's soul.
