If you have ever yearned for the company of your spirit-kin, if you are a woman who hungers to hear someone speak your inner language, if you are a man who values female spirituality, our words are meant for you. As you read, picture yourself at our lively fire, surrounded by women, and listen as each tells her tale. Perhaps one day you will join us and tell your tales to us.
The Daughters of the Wolf discussion group began in June 1996, as a gathering place for women who are on the path to living attuned to the wild woman within. The inner natural woman is akin to the wolf, and we have become a strong pack. We range in age from 17 to 60, and come from many backgrounds and different countries. We share our deepest thoughts and feelings with honesty and emotion. We laugh and cry, fight, and make up. And each day we write to each other.
Often, over the past year, packmates have remarked on the beauty of a particular email, or the poignancy of a poem or story. We share some of these on our creativity page at the web site. Yet there is always so much more that is not shared. We have such talented, imaginative, and passionate writers in our midst. The next step was a natural one -- to offer others a seat beside the creative fire burning within our den. We began this magazine.
