Daughters of the Wolf

Each of us, at least once in our lives, hears the inner call.
Some call it the wild woman within, who seeks to be heard,
to return her tamed daughters to their natural, intuitive state,
to break the chains that hold them so that they may run free...

Others call it discovering the Goddess within each woman. It is bringing into consciousness a depth of spirit and intuition only hinted at before. When the call is answered, we embark on an exciting path to transform the soul into an elegant spirit.

Each woman's path to individuation is different, yet each strives for the same destination; the place where we are at peace with who we are and comfortable with our place in the world. Once we set foot upon the path of spirit growth, there is no turning back. We are led ever onward, and the information we each need to grow and to heal psychically, mentally, emotionally, and physically is laid before us, often when we least expect it.

Garden of Personas

A Place To Gather

The discussion group is a place where women can find each other, a place where we meet and talk, a place of safety and respect. I have heard women say, and have experienced myself, how difficult it is for those of us who are just beginning to find our voice. I offer a safe space where women can speak up and speak out, where they will be supported and affirmed.

I founded the Daughters of the Wolf in 1996, and ran the list for more than a year, until I passed the mantle to trusted wild women, who carried the list forward for a number of years. Two years ago, I dicovered that the list had fallen into silence, and attempts to contact the owner, so I could resurrect it, were not answered.

In August 2006, I decided to reclaim the list. The group is not open for membership, since my attention is focused on the original wild woman list, Wild Wolf Women of the Web. But I am pleased to have this part of my history back in my keeping.

“The real miracle of individuation and reclamation of the Wild Woman is that we all begin the process before we are ready, before we are strong enough, before we know enough; we begin a dialogue with thoughts and feelings that both tickle and thunder within us. We respond before we know how to speak the language, before we know all the answers, and before we know exactly to whom we are speaking.”
